Speaker's Bio

Tenise M. Wall, PhD, LCSW, CASAC-M is the Owner and CEO of Dr. Wall’s ADHD & Wellness Center in Middletown, NY. Dr. Wall is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a Credentialed Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-M), and has earned a Masters Degree in Social Work and a PhD in Psychology. Dr. Wall’s Doctoral research was a qualitative research study on the topic of ADHD and parental experiences in seeking treatment and she has translated those research findings into a book. Dr. Wall is a published author and has presented at local, state and international conferences on various mental health topics, as well as her research findings on ADHD which have had a significant impact in the education and psychological communities.

In her work as a school social worker and in community work settings she has had the opportunities to provide therapeutic and behavioral services to thousands of children and adolescents, many of which were diagnosed or diagnosable with ADHD. Dr. Wall’s background experience includes school social work, forensic and psychiatric social work, community and substance abuse counseling & private practice. Dr. Wall specializes in working with ADHD/Disruptive behaviors, depression/anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, substance use, couples and Faith-based Counseling. In her down time, she enjoys baking new desserts, getting her steps in for the day and spending time with her family and grandbaby.
